End Of Tenancy Frequently Asked Questions

Yes all prices are inclusive of VAT as are all our services.

You can pay via our secure stripe system or by direct bank transfer. Both methods of payment are done post clean and no deposit is required.

We can arrange for a full receipt of payment to be sent to your email address..

All our maids come fully equipped with everything they need.

If your property hasn`t a designated parking space please provide a parking permit or reimburse your cleaning team on the day in person.

End of tenancies vary from property to property taking into account condition, size and any added extras This type of cleaning service is unlimited in the time and the cleaners work until complete. Please allow at least 6 to 10 hours. Your team may consist of 1, 2 or 3 cleaners who will endeavour to leave your home sparkly clean regardless of time taken. We will give you an hour warning of expected clean completion.

All our cleaners are designated key holders and extremely experienced so don`t require any supervision. It would be helpful if you or a representative are there at the end of the clean when the final clean inspection will be conducted by a Maidupnorth supervisor.

We are able to offer a key collection service if within a 3 mile radius. Please give us a call when booking to arrange this extra service.

Remove all personal items/ documentations just in case they get mislaid. We will only clean items of furniture that belong to the house and tidying up is not included in an end of tenancy clean. Remember to empty drawers and shelves. NOTE: Please remember an end of tenancy service can’t be performed up to a professional standard if the tenant’s personal belongings are not removed or stored in a tidy fashion in a designated place where no tripping hazard or damage may occur. Empty all kitchen cupboards/ fridge/ fridge freezer of food/perishables and dispose of outside the property. Defrost your freezer to allow us to complete your fridge/freezer clean. Ensure the property has hot running water and electricity.

Yes all deep cleans include an oven/ hob deep clean.

Sorry our maids are only insured to clean the insides of windows.

These services can be booked as an extra but at an additional cost.

An end of tenancy clean follows a landlord approved checklist covering all tasks required to bring the property to as pristine a condition as possible. We offer a 72 hour guarantee for the end of tenancy cleans. One time cleans are an hourly based service aimed at covering prioritised tasks within the time booked. This one time service is perfect for spring cleaning, pre or post event cleaning or special occasion cleaning.

If you aren`t entirely happy with your clean we will pop back within 72 hours free of charge and reclean any areas of concern.

We ask that you give us at least 48 hours notice if you require a reschedule. Anything below 48 hours will be subject to late cancellation charges at the discretion of management.

Yes our end of tenancy teams are available to work on Saturdays and Sundays but early booking is advised.

We service both Gateshead and Newcastle and surrounding areas.
